Client Navigator/Business Unit Lead

Title: VP, Account Director

Client Navigator leads an assigned portfolio of brands providing strategic direction, tactical plan management, and execution oversight of advertising services. Portfolio of business will be focused on first projects with new clients with the objective of expanding the business across the brand and client. Direct responsibility to build productive client relationships, ensure high-quality agency advertising, manage and motivate agency team, and increase agency revenues.


  • Exhibits ability and passion for shifting seamlessly between execution of day-to-day projects and strategic and analytical management of overall business
  • Manages all activities across account, including a team of VP-level and/or Account Supervisor direct reports
  • Ensures client relationships remain positive and productive by being sensitive to evolving client needs and proposing effective solutions
  • Leads Senior creative review to provide top-notch, on-strategy tactical deliverables
  • Effectively manages the agency scope, creative development, and execution of quality tactical deliverables
  • Leads all aspects of communication plans, proposals, and timelines
  • Possesses a superior understanding of clients' business issues, policies, and procedures and has a pulse on industry trends  
  • Demonstrates agency core values daily and exhibits professionalism with all client relationships
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of workflow
  • Recognizes and maximizes growth opportunities; actively looking for opportunities to upsell and map new relationships
  • Proven ability to provide financial reporting input: invoice projections and annual/ quarterly business forecast


  • Advertising acumen (print and digital) and proven track record
  • Experience is driving organic growth
  • Comfort in problem-solving and determining processes for new clients/brands
  • Demonstrated strategic/analytical thinking and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to lead many competing priorities and apply learnings from other companies/brands to work at hand with client
  • Sense of urgency with ability to work autonomously and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to easily build rapport and trust with team, direct reports and clients
  • Viewed as an exceptional account leader with high level of comfort working in a virtual model



  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 8-10 years of pharmaceutical advertising experience
  • Ideal candidate will be an established professional seeking a new opportunity in an innovative and highly enterprising agency


  • Advertising, Marketing, Business, or related degree
  • Significant experience with top 10 Pharma
